| |
David Kramer David Kramer was born in 1963 and received his MFA in sculpture from Pratt Institute. Kramer's art relies on text and often on appropriated images to, characteristically, offer razor-sharp commentary on the cultural currents and his personal life. Kramer was the recipient of the New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship and was a recipient of the Printshop's 2011 Special Editions Residency. Solo exhibitions include Galerie Laurent Godin in Paris, France; Aeroplastics Contemporary in Brussels, Belgium; Pierogi in Brooklyn, NY; Tom Jankar Gallery in Los Angeles, CA; Pollard + Mulherin Gallery in New York, NY; and Heiner Contemporary in Washington DC.
