Marie Tennyson

Marie brings nearly 20 years of experience to LESP, including her most recent tenure as Director of Sales at Universal Limited Art Editions. She served as the Associate Director of the LeRoy Neiman Center for Print Studies and Gallery Director of the LeRoy Neiman Gallery at the School of the Arts at Columbia University. Her passion for fine art prints and supporting emerging artists furthers the Printshop's mission to promote excellence in printmaking by offering opportunities to create, investigate, and collect fine art prints.

Nathan Catlin
Master Printer

Nathan Catlin is the Master Printer at Lower East Printshop. Catlin has over 15 years of experience as an artist and collaborative printer. He is an adjunct professor at Columbia University School of the Arts, where he served as Shop Manager, Assistant Printer, and Master Printer at the LeRoy Neiman Center for Print Studies from 2012 until summer 2025. Catlin received his BFA in Printmaking from San Francisco Art Institute before receiving his MFA from Columbia University School of the Arts in 2012. Catlin works in a variety of media, including printmaking, painting, sculpture, stained glass and site specific murals. He has shown his work both domestically and internationally. 

Kyung Eun You
Programs Director

Kyung Eun You is Programs Director at Lower East Side Printshop. You came to LESP as a studio intern in the fall of 2016, and has taken on various roles in the organization. She completed a certificate program in Printmaking at National Academy School in 2017.

Ian Ruppenthal
Assistant Printer and Studio Manager

Ian joined the LESP team in February of 2023. Prior to moving to New York, Ian co-founded Pigeon Hole Press, an etching studio in Chicago, IL. Ian has collaborated with many artists at the Printshop, notably Kate Shepherd and Katia Santibañez.

Rosa Chang
Education Coordinator

Rosa has developed her printmaking practice through both independent work and collaborative studio environments. She has worked in printshops at Anderson Ranch Arts Center and Trinity College, and is currently the Education Coordinator at LESP. She received her BA in Fine Arts and Computer Science from Yale University and her practice involves experimental processes that expand traditional prints into sculptural and kinetic forms. Her work has been featured in VICE i-D and she has participated in residencies and fellowships at Anderson Ranch Arts Center, Ox-Bow School of Art, Makerspace NYC, Trinity College, and Pocoapoco.
