Glenn Goldberg was born in 1953 in Bronx, NY and lives and works in New York, NY. He received his MFA from Queens College and studied at the New York Studio School. Goldberg is known for his bright pointillist dot paintings. With a disciplined hand, he creates pixilated abstract paintings of birds, flowers and landscapes that are both whimsical and poetic. Select exhibitions include Willard Gallery, New York, NY; Gallery Albrecht, Munich, Germany; Luise Ross Gallery, New York, NY; and the Greenberg Van Doren Gallery, St. Louis, MO. He is the recipient of awards from the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, The Edward F. Albee Foundation, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
