Design
your own workshop!
Utilize all aspects of the Printshop: its experienced staff printmakers,
its talented artists, and its abundant collection of innovative
prints.
The Printshop offers customized workshops for print connoisseurs,
scholars, print collectors, curators, printmaking students, and
print enthusiasts.
Services include:
• hands on printmaking,
• discussion of artwork currently on display,
• artist talks, and
• discussion of artwork retrieved from the Printshops
permanent collection.
You can mix & match the services, and select techniques and
artists you wish discussed.
The workshops are conducted by the Printshop staff, who are experienced
printmakers, seasoned educators, and collaborators with the artists
whose work will be shown. Techniques discussed may include the traditional
ones, such as etching and woodblock, or the alternative processes,
such as polymer plate etching and digital techniques. The Printshop
will also introduce you to the tools, materials, and experimental
approaches in printmaking.
Contact us with your needs
and ideas, and we will design a workshop with you.
The workshops can be one to six hours long and they typically cost
$100 per hour. For hands-on activities, groups are limited to 15
participants.
