These two photographs document Sarah Beddington’s trip to the pyramid site and town of Lahun in Egypt for her project Panoptiscope, which was commissioned by the Petrie Museum in 2005.

Sarah Beddington is a British artist based in London and New York. Her current solo show at Bloomberg SPACE, London, UK has been reviewed in The Guardian and Time Out London. Upcoming projects include a solo exhibition at Dumbo Arts Center, NY. Previous solo exhibitions include: Panoptiscope, Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology, UCL, London and Momenta Art, New York.  Group exhibitions include Vanishing Point at the Wexner Center for the Arts, Columbus and Surveillance, The Moore Space, Miami. Her work is in private and public collections in the United States and abroad including the Sagamore Collection, Miami, Florida, and Arts Council, England.
