The selection of prints shown here represent
two series of unique prints McGinness created while in-residence
at the Printshop. For each series, he used several visual components--such
as strands of barbed wire--and created a distinctly
different composition in each print.
McGinness explored a variety of papers; the delicate
Asian paper was printed on both sides to add texture and depth,
and the heavy white cotton paper creates crisp contrast with the
shades of blue ink.
